LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Rosina E. Eldracher, 93, of Leopold died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 3, 1915, in Leopold, daughter of Jacob J. and Lucy Vandeven Elfrink. She and Charlie F. Eldracher were married April 24, 1935. He died Nov. 2, 1991.
Eldracher retired at the age of 70 after 23 years working for Leopold School. She then went to work for the Nutrition Center in Marble Hill, Mo., and retired after 10 years, at the age of 80. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold and the Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Eldracher of Marble Hill; two daughters, Judy Leslie of Leopold, JoAnn Spooler of Jackson; a brother, Leonard Elfrink of Leopold; two sisters, Ethel Fisher of Overland, Mo., Josephine Bax of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating, Burial will follow in St. John's Church Cemetery.
