SIKESTON -- Rosie Stumbaugh, 84, of Sikeston died Wednesday, July 10, 1991 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born July 25, 1906 in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of John E. and Rebecca Elizabeth Stewart Freeman.
On Dec. 25, 1930 in Clarksville, she married Homer Stumbaugh. He preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1970.
She is survived by three daughters, Erma Hemphill, Modesto, Calif., Oleta Hicks, Essex, Loreta Watson, Wappapello; three brothers, Zearl Freeman and Leymon Freeman, both of Lamar, Ark., Otal Freeman, Dover, Ark.; one sister, Etna Avery, of Modesto, Calif.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Nunelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Doyle Corlew, pastor of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
