WHITEWATER -- Funeral for RoseLee Nussbaum of Whitewater will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville. The Rev. D. Lee Cullen will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Nussbaum, 67, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 7, 1931, at Glen Allen, daughter of Carlos and Rose Klein Burns. She and Rudolph "Rudy" Nussbaum were married Aug. 20, 1955.
Nussbaum was a graduate of Jackson High School and Southeast Missouri State University.
She and her husband farmed in Cape Girardeau County near Crump. She was an extension home economist in Bollinger and Cape Girardeau counties eight years. She was active in 4-H leadership more than 30 years and with SEMO District Fair. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Mark Nussbaum of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Mary Smith of Houston, Texas, Martha Hildenbrandt of Kansas City; a brother, Frank Burns of Jackson; two sisters, Thelma Eaker of Marble Hill, Betty Ingram of Advance; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
