Rosebud O. Ayers, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 2, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation of Cape Girardeau. She was born on Aug. 3, 1924, at Commerce, Mo., daughter of Price and Rose O'Guin Knight. She and Elzy Ayers were married Dec. 23, 1947, at Piggott, Ark. She was a member of Church of God in Cape Girardeau where she was a song leader and a former Sunday school teacher...
Rosebud O. Ayers, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 2, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation of Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Aug. 3, 1924, at Commerce, Mo., daughter of Price and Rose O'Guin Knight.
She and Elzy Ayers were married Dec. 23, 1947, at Piggott, Ark. She was a member of Church of God in Cape Girardeau where she was a song leader and a former Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include her husband of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Roxie Penny of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Roy Knight of Commerce; two sisters, Mary McGee and Hazel Davis, both of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bill Kitchen and Jim Lane officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
