Roseann Temple, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 15, 1956, in Cape Girardeau to Carl and Louanna Williams Carter. She and Ralph Temple were married June 9, 2003, at Wickliffe, Kentucky.
She was a seamstress and raised stray cats. She was also an avid softball pitcher in Southern Illinois.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Temple of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Anita Spano of Wimberly, Texas; two brothers, Jim Carter and Mike Carter, both of Centralia, Illinois; two nieces, April Alba of Houston and Ashley Spano of Nashville, Tennessee; and four nephews, Travis Carter of Lebanon, Missouri, Carl Carter of Cape Girardeau, Reese Spano of Wimberly and Anthony Alba of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
