SIKESTON -- Rose Victoria Tatroe, 84, of Sikeston died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at Clearview Nursing Center. She was born May 11, 1915, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of Joseph and Victoria Kramisch Stafiej. Tatroe was a dental assistant. She moved to Sikeston in 1977 from Detroit. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and its Daughters of Isabella. She was a foster grandparent the past 13 years...

SIKESTON -- Rose Victoria Tatroe, 84, of Sikeston died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born May 11, 1915, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of Joseph and Victoria Kramisch Stafiej.

Tatroe was a dental assistant. She moved to Sikeston in 1977 from Detroit. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and its Daughters of Isabella. She was a foster grandparent the past 13 years.

Survivors include a son, Joel Tatroe of Sikeston; two brothers, Chester Stafiej of Garden City, Mich., Alphonse Stafiej of state of Florida; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.

A memorial mass will be held later at St. Francis Xavier Church.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
