GRASSY -- Rose Marie Rhodes, 50, of Grassy, died Friday, May 17, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Sept. 5, 1940, to Cornelius and Mamie Dvorak Fied
On Sept. 13, 1980, she married Carl Rhodes. He survives.
She moved to the area ten years ago from Hematite, Mo. She worked as a home health care nurse for the Tri-County Nursing Services in Sikeston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marble Hill.
Other survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Dowd, Glen Allen, and Doreen Stevens, Whitewater; one step-son, Carl Rhodes, Grassy; one sister, Marcela Sironnovick, Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. Monday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 2 p.m., in the Liley Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Fred Ritter and the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in the McGee Chapel Cemetery, near Glen Allen.
