Rose Marie Clemons, 69, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Feb. 25, 1922, in New Madrid, daughter of Joe and Minerva Graham. She married Charles Clemons in 1953 in Arkansas. He survives.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Charles Clemons Jr. of Cherry Hill, N.J., Michael Clemons of Chicago, Phillip Clemons of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Nancy Hill of Chicago, Diane Wright of Bloomington, Ill., Rita Jones of Springfield, Ill.; her mother, Minerva Pett of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
She was a member of St. James AME Church and attended Lincoln University two years.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at St. James Church.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Leoma Leigh officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
