ROSE JOE HUTCHISON

CAIRO, Ill. -- Rose Joe Hutchison, 81 years old, of Cairo, died Friday, Dec. 28, 1990, at her home.

She was born in Terre Haute, Ind., Dec. 20, 1909, the daughter of James and Margaret Ellis Joe.

Surviving are three sisters, Sara Jane Joe, Cairo, Esther Mulder, Las Vegas, Nev., and Eva Thomas, Herrin, Ill.

She was a retired manager of the former Mid-Town Laundry in Cairo. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isbella.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hutchison; two brothers; and three sisters.

Friends may call at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. today. A rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the Barkett Chapel.

Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds, Ill.
