Funeral mass for Rosana Buckley Squires of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Revs. Willis Darling and Glenn Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Squires, 79, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 19, 1914, in Indianola, Miss., daughter of Robert and Minnie Ross Simpson. She and Arthur Coley Squires were married Aug. 16, 1941, in Cape Girardeau. He died May 2, 1993.
Squires graduated from the former John S. Cobb High School. She had worked at the post office in St. Louis, and for 23 years was a licensed practical nurse at old St. Francis Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Robert Squires of Evanston, Ill., and three granddaughters.
