ROSALEEN MCCABE

PERRYVILLE -- Rosaleen McCabe, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born June 23, 1917, in Roscommon, Ireland, daughter of John and Katie Brennan Machen. She and Peter F. McCabe were married Nov. 3, 1976, in Greenwich, Conn. He died July 28, 1990.

McCabe retired from hotel management, and had taught Irish dancing. She was a member of Business and Professional Women in Rye, N.Y.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Theresa Hinkebein of Oak Ridge; a sister, Maureen McNamara of Roscommon; a brother, Patrick Machen of Santa Rosa, Calif.; five stepgrandchildren; and nine great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two stepsons, a sister, and two brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday. The rosary will be recited at 9.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Terry Borgerding will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
