Rosalee Sue Hendrix, 81, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 21, 1941, in Charleston, Missouri, daughter of Troy and Lala Virginia Pennebaker Hendrix.
Rosalee was raised Baptist. She spent many of her years as a homemaker raising her girls in California. When she returned to Missouri, Rosalee worked at Lenco in Jackson. Above anything, she most enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Kent) Wiggins of Aptos, California, and Lala Deanna (Sterling) Stoll of Topeka, Kansas; three grandchildren, Eric (Erin) Wiggins of Santa Clara, California; Victoria Wiggins of Aptos, California; and Sydney (Will) Clark of Topeka, Kansas; one great-grandchild, Flint Wiggins of Santa Clara.
Also surviving are three siblings, Gary Don (Donna Jean) Hendrix and Stephen (Marcia Ann) Hendrix, all of Jackson, and Becky (Ken) Eftink of Weatherford, Texas; a sister-in-law, Kay (the late Troy Hendrix) of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Troy Hendrix, and nephew, Nick Hendrix.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ben Chapman officiating.
