Ronald Dale Talley, 58, of Scott City died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at his home.

He was born Oct. 5, 1946, in Dexter, Mo., son of Raymon and Frances "Elizabeth" O'Dell Talley.

Talley was an equipment operator with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his mother of Scott City; two sons, James and John Talley of Scott City; two sisters, Linda Owen of Scott City, Kathy Simmons of Advance, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo., with full military rites by the Missouri Honors Program.
