CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Ronald Dale Humphries, 221 Brandy Lane, will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Louis Launhardt will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Humphries, 45, died Saturday, July 27, 1996, in an automobile accident on County Road 620.

He was born Feb. 24, 1951, at Morehouse, son of Charles and Christine Trout Humphries. He and Nancy Birk were married Oct. 29, 1982.

Humphries owned and operated Capaha Construction Co. six years. He was a Southeast Missouri State University booster, board member of St. Andrew Church, and member of Cape Girardeau Regional Airport Advisory Board. He was a girls softball coach and donated time to Habitat for Humanity.

He was a 1969 graduate of Sikeston High School.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Graham Andrews of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Meghann Humphries of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Dudley, and a sister, Merry Hughes of Dudley.
