McCLURE, Ill. — Ronald Gordon Sr., 63, of McClure passed away at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at his home, with his wife by his side, after loosing his long battle to cancer.
Ron was very loved by everyone with whom he ever came in contact. He loved to make model cars, to dance and shake his booty and to draw. He really took a passion into loving his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Gordon; four sons, Kevin Edwards (Brenda Kurtz), Otis Dillow, Ronald Gordon Jr. and Jonathon Gordon; two daughters, Leanna (Junior) Ramsey and Stephanie (Kevin) Johnson; two sisters, Dorothy and Patricia Jeppeson; three sisters-in-laws, Lillian (Jim) Williams, Vickie Brown and Kimberly Damron; nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by is parents; one brother, Walter Gordon Sr.; and his wife, Carla Gordon.
Services will be at a later date.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
