Ronald Lee Gammon, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Nov. 10, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of Bobby C. and Helen Marie Goad Gammon. He and K. Sharon Donica were married March 29, 1969, in Cape Girardeau.
Gammon was a mechanic at Sikeston Ford. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 3775.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Bryan Gammon of Jackson; a daughter, Ronda Schiwitz of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Brad Gammon of Dutchtown, Todd Gammon of St. Louis; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. An Eagles service will be held at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Kitchen officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with military graveside rites by Missouri Funeral Honors Team.
