Ronald E. Farrow, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 12, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of Pearl and Mamie Gray Farrow. He and Glenda Wilkinson were married July 2, 1967, in Cape Girardeau.
Farrow was author of the book "Written From The Heart" and wrote for the Southeast Missourian's The Best Years publication five years. He retired as an environmental analyst with Larron Labs, where he worked 13 years. He was a volunteer with Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary four years.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Farrow of Cape Girardeau; a son, Ron Farrow II of Farmington, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Burke of Irondale, Mo., Kristina Farrow of Berkeley, Calif.; a sister, Linda Shirrell of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Elijah and Ethan Burke of Irondale.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Danny Farrow; and a sister, Sandra Flowers.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
