Ronald Cletus Ervin, 79, a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Cape Girardeau.
Ronald was a 1952 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School, served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired electrician.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Grosso and Jodi Badar, both of Las Vegas; a son, Ronald "Sam" Ervin of Cape Girardeau; sister Carol Scholl of Jackson; two grandsons, Jamie Carpunky of Las Vegas and Rhett Ervin of St. Louis; and a nephew, Patrick Scholl of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Jeanette Ervin; and a son, Matthew "Woody" Ervin.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
