Ronald Dillie

ULLIN, Ill. -- Ronald L. Dillie, 65, of Ullin passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Mississippi County, Mo., son of Luther Nickels and Dessie Pearl McKenzie Dillie.

Ronald was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his mother, Dessie Pearl Hawkins of Clyde, Texas; three daughters, Shelly Deppe of Little Rock, Ark., Shanna McCombs of Texas and Stephanie of Mexico; a son, Shawn Brandon; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Linda (Tom) Haynes of Ullin, Mary Lorene (Lorrie) Wilson of Dexter, Mo., and Pamela Miller of Dongola, Ill.; a brother, Murl D. Dillie of Clyde; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; and three brothers, Chris, Mike and David Dillie.

Per request of Ronald, cremation services have been accorded with Jones Funeral Home of Villa Ridge, Ill.

There is no public service.
