Roland B. Schoenebeck, 64, of Fruitland died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at his home.

He was born Nov. 13, 1942, in Fruitland, son of Karl and Trula Willa Schoenebeck.

Schoenebeck was a graduate of Jackson High School. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany.

He then lived in St. Louis and worked as a mechanic. He resided many years on the family farm with his parents. In recent years, he worked for Beggs Lime Service, did carpentry and landscape work, and auto restoration.

Survivors include a brother, Roy Schoenebeck of Mehlville, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David E. Schaffner officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Fruitland, with graveside military honors.
