PERRYVILLE -- Roger A. Schmidt, 53, of Perryville died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 28, 1945, in Red Bud, Ill., son of Glen and Ruby Schmidt Allen. He and Pamela Dobbelare were married July 16, 1980.

Schmidt was a machine operator at Perry Crating.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Greg Dobbelare of Perryville; three brothers, Randy Allen of Perryville, David Allen of Ste. Genevieve, Michael Allen of St. Marys; four sisters, Marleen Roderique of St. Marys, Anna Stidhorn of Doniphan, Chire Pannier and Kathy Bequette of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ervin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
