BLOOMSDALE, Mo. -- Roger Dale Cotner of Bloomsdale passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, at the age of 67.

Roger was retired from the State of Missouri; a Vietnam veteran; loving father to one daughter, Holly Benson of Gerald, Missouri; and grandfather to Trenton, Kylie, Summer and Lakely of Gerald.

He is also survived by four siblings, Wilma Cheatam of Murphysboro, Illinois, Margret Friese of Jackson, Jim Cotner Sr. of Illinois and David Cotner of Rogue River, Oregon; seven nieces; five nephews; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ally Jean; brothers, Eddie and Delbert Cotner; mother, Glenda Cotner; and father, Dewey Ray Cotner.

Roger was outgoing spirit, with a lot of friends. He will always be in their hearts.

Liley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
