Rodney Blumenberg

Rodney Owen Blumenberg, 67, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.

He was born Feb.22, 1954, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to the late Norman and Sue McDougal Blumenberg.

Rodney worked as a machinist at Rubbermaid. He loved to go to gun shows and was an avid collector. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sister, Robyn (Rick) Draughon of Cape Girardeau; brother, Wayne Blumenberg of Cape Girardeau; nephew, Charles Draughon of Altus, Oklahoma; aunts, uncles and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Woelk officiating. Burial will follow at Whitewater United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the Whitewater United Methodist Church Cemetery.
