Robin Lanette Hoffmeister Kranawetter, 40, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 14, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Lloyd and Judy Choate Hoffmeister. She and Richard Kranawetter were married May 10, 1986, in Jackson. He survives.
Robin graduated from Jackson High School in 1983, and attended Southeast Missouri State University two years. She then worked for her father as office manager at Hoffmeister Stake and Handle of Jackson until her death.
She was of the Church of God belief and a member of Elks Lodge 2652 in Jackson.
Robin and her husband farmed 17 years near Pocahontas. She loved animals and had owned and operated the former Kran-saw Kennels near Pocahontas.
In addition to her husband, loving survivors include two sons, Samuel and Gage Kranawetter of the home; her father and his wife, Lloyd and Glenda Hoffmeister of Jackson; her mother, Judy Sturm of Jackson; a brother, Edwin Curtis Hoffmeister of Altenburg, Mo.; a sister, Tricia Barnhart of Jackson; her father-in-law and his wife, Ervin and Marilyn Kranawetter of Jackson; her mother-in-law, Rita Weidner of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother-in-law, Douglas Kranawetter of Jackson; paternal grandmother, Hilda Hoffmeister of Jackson; two nieces; and a nephew.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Kitchen officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
