PUXICO, Mo. -- Roberta "Bobbie" O'Neal, 73, of Puxico died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Nov. 23, 1926, at Bonne Terre, Mo., daughter of Ralph and Violet E. Mayberry Duren. She and Donald G. O'Neal were married July 25, 1959, in St. Louis.
O'Neal moved to Puxico in 1970 from St. Louis. She retired as a cook at Dexter Nursing Center in Dexter, Mo. She was a member of Corinth General Baptist Church near Puxico.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Donald and Danny O'Neal of Puxico, Dennis O'Neal of St. Louis; two sisters, Juanita Duren of St. Louis, Nancy Delaney of Festus, Mo.; four brothers, Raymond, Robert and Elmer Duren of Festus, Virgil Duren of Tanner, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico.
