FORT WORTH, Tex. Funeral services for Roberta Buyers, 69, of Fort Worth, Tex., formerly of Cape Girardeau, were held Wednesday, June 19, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, here. Burial was in Fort Worth.

Buyers died Saturday, June 15 at her home.

She was born July 7, 1921 in Cape Girardeau to Robert and Amelia Springer Grueneberg. Buyers had lived in Fort Worth for about 40 years.

She married J.A. Buyers, who preceded her in death, along with her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include two sons, John A. Buyers, III of Kennedale, Tex., and James R. Buyers of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mary E. Sablich of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Nancy J. George of Mebane, North Carolina.

One brother, Robert Grueneberg of Scott City, and nine grandchildren also survives.
