ROBERT WISE

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Robert B. Wise, 80, Mounds Route 1, died Friday, May 9, 1997, at Countryside Health Care Center in Bardwell, Ky.

He was born May 9, 1917, in Mounds, son of William and Effie Laws Wise.

Wise retired as a clerk at Cairo Post Office. He was a member of Cairo Masonic Lodge 237 AF&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Eugenia; a daughter, Marilyn Webb of Bardwell; two sons, Robert Wise of Marion, David Wise of Incline Village, Nev.; a sister, Dorothy Rose of Mounds; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and four brothers.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Jerry Herring officiating.

Barkett Funeral Home at Mounds is in charge of arrangements.
