CAIRO, Ill. -- Robert Lesley Whitis Jr. of New Johnsonville, Tenn., formerly of Cairo, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, in New Johnsonville.

Survivors include his wife, Isabelle Whitis of New Johnsonville; two sons, Bobby Whitis of Olive Branch and Anthony Whitis of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willa Mae Hicks, and his second wife, Exie Whitis.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at Stockdale and Marion Funeral Home in Camden, Tenn. Burial will follow in Bruceton Cemetery in Bruceton, Tenn.

Funeral arrangements were announced by Crain Funeral Home of Tamms.
