Robert F. White Sr., 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 4, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 22, 1930, at Matthews, son of Willis and Ada Osteen White. He and Sally Gore were married Sept. 21, 1950, in Tunica, Miss.
White retired as an engraver with American Greeting Card Co. in Osceola, Ark.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, George White of Jackson, Tim White of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Edna Welch of Vidalia, La., Tracy Rhodes and Elizabeth Meyer of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Bill White of Wardell, James White of St. Louis, John White of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Edna McLennan of San Antonio, Texas, Marie Daniel of Spanaway, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Arvil Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
