SIKESTON, Mo. -- Robert Lee Washington, 69, of Sikeston died Dec. 12, 2004, at his home.
He was born July 5, 1935, in Clarksdale, Ark., son of Suzannah Buxton. He married Lonnie Cole.
Washington had farmed and worked at Williams Auto Sales in Sikeston.
Survivors include his wife; seven sons, Brandon Washington of the home, Daren Washington and Earl McCaster of Elkhart, Ind., Lend McCaster of Chandler, Ariz., Frank McCaster of Minnesota, David Thompson and Willie Cook of Saginaw, Mich.
Also surviving are 10 daughters, Alice Clark, Loricestine Green and Janice Draper of Sikeston, Mary Thomas and Bertha Rodgers of Saginaw, Barbara Washington of Grand Rapids, Mich., Sally Porter of Elkhart, Rosetta Harden of Tucson, Ariz., Dameshia Washington of Springfield, Mo., Sheila Moore of St. Louis; 55 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Cornerstone Baptist Church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday to service time.
The funeral will be at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. J.L. Nabors officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
