MALDEN, Mo. -- Robert Paul Sneddy, 54, of Malden died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at his home.
He was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Washington, Mo., son of John Cordell and Dorothy Grace Tabor Sneddy. He and Sandra Kay Jones Asher were married June 3, 1986, at Malden.
Mr. Sneddy was an area maintenance technician for the U.S. Postal Service in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving six years during the Vietnam period.
He was a member of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Skye Gregerson of Fayetteville, N.C.; five sons, Kyle Sneddy of St. Peters, Mo., Joel Sneddy of Whiteman Air Force Base; Jeremy Asher of Paragould, Ark., Will Asher of Valley Falls, Kan., and Aaron Asher of Malden; four grandchildren; his mother of Owensville, Mo.; and five sisters, Sandra Copeland of Owensville, Ruth Wright of Washington, Mo., Loretta Patrick of Kirkwood, Mo., Karen Crull of Bland, Mo., and Becky Sipes of Crocker, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. Dan Hargraves will officiate, with burial in the Bernie Cemetery.
Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
