Robert Schwartz

Robert "Bob" Lee Schwartz Jr., 48, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, October 4, 2015.

He was born Nov. 29, 1966, in St. Louis to Robert and Joanne Boner Schwartz.

Bob worked for the city of Cape Girardeau in the Wastewater Division. He served in the National Guard and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Robert (Sandra) Schwartz of Marble Hill, Missouri; mother, Joanne of Florida; daughters, Ashley Gantt of Cape Girardeau, Alisha Stewart of East St. Louis, Illinois; sister, Lisa of Florida; grandchildren, Madison and Karsen Gantt and Eli Youngblood; former wife, Lisa Schwartz (Milton Lincoln) of Marble Hill; and stepsister, Elizabeth Long of Marble Hill.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dave Wiant officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
