MORLEY, Mo. -- Robert "Bob" Mouser, 84, of Morley passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
He was born Oct. 20, 1928, at Arbor to Edward Oliver and Clara Frances Dees Mouser. He and Velta Roberts White were married Feb. 16, 1963.
Robert was a carpenter at Dame Lumber Co. in Chaffee and worked at Monty Mobile Homes and for the city of Morley. He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three children, David, Elizabeth and Karen; a stepson, James David White of Dexter, Mo.; a brother, Jerry Mouser of Paducah, Ky.; two sisters, Norma Lee Goetz of Fenton, Mo., and Marietta Wren of Cape Girardeau.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the chapel. The Rev. Bobby Mouser will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Doug Sikes. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
