REPUBLIC, Mo. -- Robert Marshall, 51, passed away peacefully Monday, May 2, 2016, in Republic with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer. REPUBLIC, Mo. -- Robert Marshall, 51, passed away peacefully Monday, May 2, 2016, in Republic with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer.
He was the son of Donald and Nancy Marshall of Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Clark Marshall; a son, Brandon Marshall; a daughter, Julia Marshall; his parents, Donald and Nancy Marshall; brothers Kevin and Craig Marshall; and maternal grandmother Frances Greene.

Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Marshall and Joe and Louise Stone.
Robert attended Kelly High School in Benton, Missouri, and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University. He was a self-employed building contractor.
He was an aviation enthusiast, private pilot and a member of Experimental Aircraft Association.
