MOREHOUSE -- Funeral service for Robert Lilbourn Cook of Morehouse will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Randy Thomas will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Cook, 60, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1994, at his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1933, in Ripley County, Ark., son of Fred and Nola Powell Cook. He and Mary Alice Schiferl were married April 10, 1976, in Arkansas.
Cook had lived in Morehouse 27 years, and was a truck driver with Malone and Hyde Co.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lawrence Preston of Morehouse, Richard Schiferl of Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Ill., Duane Schiferl of Sikeston; a daughter, Tanya Whited of St. Louis; four brothers, Boyce, Leon and Gary Cook of St. Louis, Garland Cook of Kansas; three sisters, Erma Findley of Morehouse, Gloria Cook of Illinois, Barbara Lehman of Indiana, and nine grandchildren.
