EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Robert Junior Kemp of Immokalee, Fla., was held Monday at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. William Eugene, a son, officiated. Burial was in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kemp, 66, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1997, at Columbia Medical Center in Fort Myers, Fla.

He was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Kentucky, son of James Robert and Inez Davis Kemp. He and Georgia Ann Moore were married Dec. 22, 1950.

Kemp moved to Immokalee 30 years ago from East Prairie.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William Kemp of Immokalee; three brothers, James, J.L., and Robert Kemp, all of Immokalee; three sisters, Morine Lane of Paducah, Ky., Johnnie McGee and Betty Rice of Immokalee; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
