Robert R. "Bob" Johnson, 82, of St. Louis, formerly of Advance, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at his home in St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Advance, son of Charles E. Johnson and Lillie D. Edwards. He and Glenda M. Dunn were married.
Johnson was a member of the Craftsman Lodge 717, AF and AM, Moolah Shrine, South County Shrine Club and American Legion Post 4.
Beloved survivors include his wife for 60 years, Glenda M. Johnson of St. Louis; two sons, Michael (Nedra) Johnson of Columbus, Ohio and Keith (Jean) Johnson of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; five grandchildren, Denise, Pamela, Beth and Teresa; brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 10126 E. Watson Road in St. Louis, 63126. Interment will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children or the charity of donor's choice.
John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
