Robert Willis Johanningmeier, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 2, 1934, in St. Louis, son of Willis August and Geraldine Hosea Johanningmeier.
Johanningmeier was a mail carrier with U.S. Postal Service 32 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Whitewater United Methodist Church.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, Robert Johanningmeier of O'Fallon, Mo.; a daughter, Michelle Johanningmeier of the state of California; and his mother of Cape Girardeau.
Burial will be in Memorial Park in St. Louis.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Chateau Girardeau.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
