ROBERT HORNBEAK

PERRYVILLE -- Robert E. Hornbeak, 59, of Perryville died Thursday, April 8, 1999, in Perryville.

He was born Dec. 5, 1939, in Pamona, Ill., son of Joseph and Frances Lipe Hornbeak. He first married Donna Allen, who preceded him in death. He and Barbara Mills were married May 26, 1990.

Hornbeak was an insurance broker and tax specialist. He played Khoury League baseball and was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Southern Illinois.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Stephen Hornbeak of Nashville, Tenn., Michael Hornbeak of Jackson, Jim and David Brown of St. Louis; a daughter, Elizabeth Guemmer of Perryville; his mother of Cairo, Ill.; two brothers, Joe Hornbeak of Louisiana, Jim Hornbeak of Cairo; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Rob Mills will officiate.
