EAST PRAIRIE -- Robert H. Worthy, 56, of East Prairie, died Tuesday, July 21, 1992, at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., following an extended illness.
He was born June 2, 1936, at Wolf Island, son of Arthur and Lula Belle Frazier Worthy.
Worthy was a construction worker with Laborers Local 1104 in Cape Girardeau. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, Gary and Randy Worthy of Charleston; two brothers, A.J. Worthy of East Prairie, Eugene Worthy of Florida, and a sister, Opal Stokes of East Prairie.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near here.
