ZALMA -- Memorial service for Robert Glenn Jones of Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Balch Church near Zalma. Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

Jones, 59, died Wednesday, July 15, 1992, at his home.

He was born in Colfax, Ill., son of Glenn and Helen Jones. He married Roberta Gambino in New York.

Jones graduated from Zalma High School, attended Southeast Missouri State University, and graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He was a retired senior electrical engineer with Unisys Corp. in Greatneck, N.Y. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his mother, Helen Jones of Leesburg.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a sister.
