CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Graveside service for Robert E. Bonikowski of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rev. Stephen Schneider will officiate, with Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in charge of arrangements.

There is no visitation.

Bonikowski, 69 years old, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 19, 1922, in Chicago, son of Emil A. and Helen Boyk Bonikowski.

He was a shipping and receiving clerk 25 years and was in custodial work 12 years in Chicago. He was of the Catholic faith, and former member of VFW Post in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include friends, the Jim Lawson family of Cape, Robert and Barbara Warner and Donald Davison of Chicago.
