ADVANCE -- Robert Lee Boner, 68, of Advance died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at his home. He was born March 20, 1931, at Creal Springs, Ill., the son of Ruth Ann Choate Bohan of Carbondale, Ill., and Clinton Boner. He married Maxine Jones on Oct. 14, 1948, at Cape Girardeau. She survives...

ADVANCE -- Robert Lee Boner, 68, of Advance died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at his home.

He was born March 20, 1931, at Creal Springs, Ill., the son of Ruth Ann Choate Bohan of Carbondale, Ill., and Clinton Boner. He married Maxine Jones on Oct. 14, 1948, at Cape Girardeau. She survives.

He was a retired truck driver for Southeast Coop and a member of Hopewell General Baptist Church.

He also is survived by his mother; four sons, Bob Boner of Coconut Creek, Fla., Danny Boner of Benton, Ark., Jeff Boner of Poplar Bluff and Brian Boner of Advance; three daughters, JoAnn Ghee of Frostproof, Fla., Diana Camden of Austin, Texas, and Linda White of Jackson; two brothers, Ray Boner of Frostproof and Earl Boner of Granite City, Ill.; five sisters, Betty Manning of Frostproof, Helen Brewer and Ruth Ann Boner, both of Murphysboro, Ill., Dolly Boner of Cobden, Ill., and Delores Meadows of Carbondale; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.

No visitation or public funeral service will be held. The Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements.
