WASHINGTON, Mo. -- Robert K. "Bob" Miller Sr., 80, of Washington passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, in Washington. He was born in Kelso, Missouri, on July 6, 1934, to the late Weldon C. and the late Nellie Glueck Miller. WASHINGTON, Mo. -- Robert K. "Bob" Miller Sr., 80, of Washington passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, in Washington.

He was born in Kelso, Missouri, on July 6, 1934, to the late Weldon C. and the late Nellie Glueck Miller.

On Sept. 19, 1959, he was united in marriage to Patricia Robert at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Annunciation in Cape Girardeau.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 218 and the Knights of Columbus Council 1121.

Bob dearly loved his family and traveling with Pat. He also greatly enjoyed the outdoors, whether it meant working on a project, hunting, fishing or attending a sports event.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Washington; two sons, Robert K. Jr. of Marthasville, Missouri, and Roger and wife Allison of Augusta, Missouri; one daughter, Karen and husband Bruce Beste of Washington; one granddaughter, Cortney of St. Louis; three grandsons, Tyler of Seattle and Andrew and Matthew of Washington; three brothers, Maurice and wife Connie of Scott City, James and wife Janet of Sikeston, Missouri, and Michael of Scott City; one sister, Mary Darlene Miller of St. Peters; other relatives; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles and Donald.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Krakow, Missouri. Interment will be at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Gertrude Catholic Grade School, the Pregnancy Assistance Center or Masses.
