ROBERT BIGGS SR.

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Robert Lee Biggs Sr., 57, of Scott City died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 15, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of William Marion and Mary Isabelle Brock Biggs.

Biggs was a self-employed mechanic.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Biggs Jr. of Mill Spring, Mo., James and Stanley Biggs of Kankakee, Ill., Frank Biggs of Buda, Texas; two daughters, Jeris McAllister of Buda, Robin Wilhelm of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Jim Biggs of Jefferson City, Mo.; four sisters, Laura Sturm, Edna Ramsey, Josephine Gray and Shirley Kinder, all of Scott City; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
