Robert W. "Butch" Adams, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at his home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 6, 1944, in Millersville, to Farris Everett and Stella B. Hahs Adams.
He and Alice J. Pennington were married Saturday, Oct. 1, 1966, at Marble Hill, Mo. She preceded him in death Sept. 7, 2009.
Butch served his country in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a brick mason, working for Foeste Masonry more than 30 years and had become an avid bowler.
Survivors include son, Farris Adams of Millersville; sisters, Jo Ann Henley, Helen "Jenny" (Wesley) Willard and Jeri (Chester) Hengst, all of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Kaylea Adams and Tess Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
A private graveside service will be at a later date at Cape County Memorial Park.
