SIKESTON -- Robert A. Gaddis, 78, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born June 30, 1913, at Kewanee, son of Jim and Effie Widows Gaddis. He and Emma Clayborn were married Aug. 4, 1946, in Piggott, Ark. She died March 28, 1988.
Gaddis was a retired farmer, and had lived in the Matthews and Canalou areas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Dwayne Reynolds of Lamar, Ark., Larry Gaddis of Jefferson City, Johnny Gaddis of Sikeston; a daughter, Emma Martin of Russellville, Ark.; a brother, Grover Cox of Alexandria, Ind.; three sisters, Dorothy Helton, Billie Martin and Sue Wise of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Danny Marshall will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
