PERRYVILLE -- Robert A. Clyburn, 95, of Perryville, formerly of Leeper, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1992.
He was born March 17, 1897, in Carter County. He and Clara May Lane were married April 6, 1918. She died Oct. 8, 1986.
Clyburn was a farmer, and charter member of Shady Nook Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Clyburn of Memphis, Tenn., Roy Clyburn of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a daughter, Glendelea Buchanan of Perryville; a sister, Ora Brown of Fredericktown; nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont. The Rev. Johnny Clements will officiate, with burial in Alwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. today.
