The Rev. R.M. Crenshaw, 89, of Pass Christian, Miss., died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, in Pass Christian.
He was born Aug. 2, 1909, in Joplin, son of George and Josie Ellis Crenshaw. He and Lena Harmen were married in 1926.
Crenshaw was an Assembly of God pastor 57 years. He pastored 12 churches in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma, including First Assembly of God Church which was then on South Sprigg. He was pastor of the Cape Girardeau church from 1938-44.
Survivors include his wife of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; a daughter, Betty Karner of Bay St. Louis; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McLaughlin Funeral Home in St. Louis, Mo. The Revs. Charles Lance and Ronald Hembree will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.
