CHARLESTON -- Rita Anderson, 77, of Owensboro, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 3, 1994, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born Aug. 1, 1917, in Charleston, daughter of William Alamander and Hazel Noble Carr. She and Charles E. Anderson were married June 29, 1946. He died Feb. 10, 1977...

CHARLESTON -- Rita Anderson, 77, of Owensboro, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 3, 1994, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born Aug. 1, 1917, in Charleston, daughter of William Alamander and Hazel Noble Carr. She and Charles E. Anderson were married June 29, 1946. He died Feb. 10, 1977.

Survivors include three brothers, Orville and Clinton Carr of Owensboro, Louis Carr of Beaver Dam, Ky., and a sister, Alice Goolsby of The Dalles, Ore.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home after 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
